About this stay
Moored on the River Spree in the heart of Berlin, Shipotel Eastern and Shipotel Western are two boats forming a charming hotel amid the vibrant Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg districts, just 10 metres from the remains of the Berlin Wall. Shipotel Eastern offers cosy cabin rooms with private bathrooms and a spacious deck with great views of the Oberbaum Bridge, while Shipotel Western has budget cabins with shared bathrooms and a roof terrace with great views of the Berlin skyline, which is closed in winter. Bed linen and towels are included; children aged 0–4 stay free, while children aged 5 and older pay the full adult price, so please provide their ages when booking or take this into account when making your booking. In summer, guests can enjoy a drink on the Floating Lounge’s deck, and in winter, by the fireplace; central heating keeps the boats open year-round, the main reception, reception room and lounge are on Shipotel Eastern, and the Floating Lounge hosts English stand-up comedy every Tuesday and Thursday. Friedrichshain’s many bars and clubs are within walking distance, Warschauer Straße S-Bahn station is a 10-minute walk away, and the hotel is a four-minute walk from the Uber Arena and Uber Eats Music Hall. The Shipotel has no car parking of its own; two 24-hour car parks are nearby: EastSide Mall on Helen-Ernst Straße, 500 metres away, with prices starting at €2.50 per hour and €14 for 24 hours, and Contipark International at Stralauer Platz 14, 10243 Berlin, near Ostbahnhof and 1,000 metres away, with prices starting at €2 per hour and €9 for 24 hours.
